THE MANY BENEFITS OF MEDITATING

by Heewon Choi

Meditation is one of the most effective ways to control your mood. Therefore, I experienced the effects of meditation for a week.

First of all, I followed "home training," which is creating a huge boom these days, watching YouTube at home and following along.

After meditating, the effect of meditating is as follows. First, it calms you down. Meditation controls autonomic nerves and activates parasympathetic nerves. Thus, the autonomic nervous system gets stabilized, induces relaxation and relaxation of the mind and body, and facilitates the stability of the heart rate, brain wave, muscle relaxation, and metabolism.

Also, it makes me feel better. This means that meditation changes beneficial neurotransmitters, or hormones. Meditation reduces the secretion of cortisol, a stress hormone, and promotes the secretion of serotonin. In addition, dopamine increases and promotes oxytocin secretion, which helps to refresh mood.

Finally, it makes you healthy. In fact, meditation strengthens the immune system. It reduces cortisol, which blocks or dulls information communication in the immune system, and activates NK cells to produce more immune cells and actively produce antibodies.

Why don't you try meditation that has so many advantages for at least five minutes a day from today?

THE BENEFITS OF MEDITATION AND HOW TO DO IT!

by Dail Jung

Meditation has many benefits to it. Some people do it to de-stress; others do it to generate absolute focus. Some even go as far as doing it for the purpose of self-improvement and only for the benefits of meditating without truly enjoying the process itself. Regardless of the purpose, there is a general consensus that meditation is good. The difference of opinions comes in how difficult it is to meditate. In just 5 simple steps below, you can meditate too!

Step 1: Find a spot to sit where you can relax your body. Get a pillow or a candle if that is what makes you relax.

Step 2: Either use a meditation application or sit in silence as you close your eyes.

Step 3: Either follow what the meditation says or simply enjoy every moment. Meditation is all about being aware and conscious of everything that is occurring around you. A general tip is to breathe in and breathe out, deep but not to the point where it hurts.

Step 4: Even if you hear any sounds or distractions, embrace them. By taking in everything around you, you become more aware. In the world of meditation there are no distractions.

Step 5: Once you feel good about yourself and the experience, you are free to open your eyes and stand up slowly and go about your day as always.

I hope this article provided you some new insight into meditation and how to have an effective session. Meditation sessions can go for as long as you want. The recommendations for beginners are usually shorter-around ten to fifteen minutes – but once you get better at it, you can go for longer. I wish you the very best of luck in your meditation sessions!
